Why not come and join Lowry Strings? It’s a friendly and supportive adult group for beginner to moderate players of violin, viola, cello and double bass. Our rehearsals are fun under the expert guidance of our Musical Director.
Some of our members have learned as adults whilst others have returned to playing after a gap of many years.
We give two informal concerts a year for family and friends and also enjoy an annual residential weekend course every Spring.

All new members get the first 4 weeks’ free of charge! After this fees are paid on a termly basis. The fees cover the hire of the room, Musical Director’s fees and music.
